Customs 53 Pontiac kustom build Sins or bust

  2. Got a bit more done this weekend. Both doors are now repaired and hung.

    Had to cut about 2" off the bottom

  3. Also relocated the fuel filler. I am keeping the pontiac badges on the rear quaters so I made one hinge open, cut up and modified the stock hinge.
    Its was actually my sons idea to put it there.

    What other makes of grilles fit into these 53 Pontiacs?? Without a ton of work. 54 Chevy? Curious, Ive got a 53 too, and need to get rid of the stocker.

    Very nice work, i love your color choice. Ive always wanted a car that color. What dia dom did you use for the 4 link? you made it look simple the way you did it!!

  17. Got the inner wings painted and fitted now.

    stripped the paint of one of the front wings and found another bad repair. Looks like it had quite a big smack, its creased right up. I think it will be easier to cut it all out and make up a new piece.

    cars lookin real good ,was this the car that jumped a three foot ramp over a bonfire years ago at the hotrod drags ?:eek: Hope to see it at sins, seems everyone we speak too is going all the best Terry

  23. Can I tell you something? Not that you really give a shit but I hate candy apple red! But I absolutely love candy apple red on your car!!!!!!!!! I haven't liked that color in many years until now.
