Event Coverage Midwest car shows 300 miles from chicago

I would like to start a thread about car shows within 300 miles of Chicago.
I know that both coasts have tons of shows.
I am only interested in "Third Coast" Midwest shows.
Example: Scrap Drive, Pile up, Beatersville....

If you want to add your favorite shows to the list

Sorry I can help you out there since it's been forever since I have been to a show other then the Easter Day show at the St Louis Muny, which has everything. Hopefully someone else from the area can fill you in w/that info...joe

that is some good info in there - did anyone mention the Good Guys Indy - that is a good show with Nostalgia Drags - just bring a canoe to get to your car as well!

Location: National Trail Raceway, Hebron, OH (Columbus area)

Open to: Pre-1972 American Cars, Traditional Style Motorcycles of any make (no sport-bikes, off-road bikes or ATVs), spectators

Events: 1/8mi Drag Races for general public participation, cars and bikes (must pass basic tech inspection), Exhibition 1/4mi drags, Burnout contest, flame thrower contest, pinup contest, Car/Bike show, Beer Sales.

General Admission: $15, Kids 12 and under free.

Vending: Open vending to those who have paid general admission, no designated vending spots, no booths, tables, or chairs provided. No Food or Drink Vendors!

How about the Ducktail in Gas City, IN and James Dean in Fairmont,IN late in September? Not sure if the Rebel Run in Lima, OH is within the 300 mile limit.
