http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-oDDORPXTgI I just got this and thought you Hambers would like it as much as I did. enjoy
it was cool to see it come together, and have a role in it while there at the shop. All those brain storming sessions, late nights, etc...Watching Kens mind work is scary amazing...and I took all the lessons learned there to heart..To see it at garage night in bare metal(my first time seeing it as a "complete" car other than the million mock ups and the grand national), then covered with El Mirage dust (my first time seeing it painted) and then finally going down the road and covered in salt was awesome. Riding in her wasn't bad either haha. I hope George drives her like shes meant to be...
Very nice production, and of course a dead-on piece as Geo. Poteet always has!! I was also rocking along and then kinda put in my place by the new age music!!There are so many killer details on that car it was a fun study from a great perspective. The vintage stuff flashing in and the early track footage was really awesome Thanks for the cool post!!~Sololobo~
Another home run to park in George's garage. When you have his money you don't do singles , doubles or triples. Another tribute to The Rolling Bones way of building hot rods. Frank
Made my morning... Great video....Maybe I,m getting old but I really like it.... Someones been watching some KEN BURNS for storytelling lessons....really pure. That car is NICE...
The Rolling Bones, and their hot rods, are #1 in my book........traditional done without compromise.....and Ken and Keith are down to earth hot rodders. Hot rodders to the bone.
