I recently picked up a 58 F100. I need to patch one cab corner. I have a couple catalogs LMC, Dennis Carpenter etc. Does anyone have any recommendations?

    Cheers

    Matt...
I had good luck here with 53-56, and they list 57 and up as well, including patch panels, body mounts, bushings, bed parts, etc....

I have bought from LMC Truck, Sacramento Ford, Macs, Mark K, and Blue Oval truck parts.
Blue Oval screwed my two only orders up with them. Wrong window gaskets and marked on invoice as the ones I ordered.

I didn't find John's f100's to be very helpful. Slow shipping, poor communication.

Mac's and LMC were great. LMC's shipping is very fast.

There is even more that everyone listed, do a google search, and don't ask me why but everyone has different prices. Shop around!

I've got a 65. I've ordered from LMC, NPD, and Dennis Carpenter and have had good luck with all of them.

I do like the way Dennis Carpenter packages things better than the others. The parts are actually labeled by type, instead of just having only the part number on the packing. And I understand for things like door and widow seals DC makes a better fitting product.

add macs auto parts in there too.

  18. I get my parts wherever I can find them. Where are you parked?

Seriously, all the above mentioned sources are great.

Matt, I got all my stuff from Rod and Denise at http://hotrodstrucks.biz/ He mainly sells 48-56 stuff. I bought all my 52 stuff from him before. So when I bought the 57, I called him first. Customer service was awesome! Just a small family operation trying to make a buck.

I used to get a lot of stuff from Dennis Carpenter for my projects (so far I have had a '57, 59, and a '60) but more recently I have found that LMC was a little faster shipping. They are all about the same price...

Mid Fiftys. They are the best people around. They know their stuff.

If it's just a patch, patch it. If you want to show it, LMC has the stuff. Any pretty stuff like emblems are there also, except the "f100" part of the side hood emblem. Within the next year I will have the capacity to reproduce exactly the OOS emblems from that truck. The side door "custom cab" and the hood emblem is easy to find but the elusive f100 inlay is not.

Are you gonna reproduce the front hood emblem? That would be great

Is normally where I get my stuff. I have had bad experiences with LMC. I think you could try NPD I bought some stuff when I had a mustang and they where nice.
