Well I know I'll probably create a stink with this post as its not really on topic but in a way it is. With all the drilling for natural gas that is taking place in the Marcellus shale formation, the company I work for is wanting to send me out to Pa. to get our foot in the door since we offer hotshot service roustabout crew and other oilfield services. From what I can tell the houston area is fairly busy. What I'm asking for is if any fellow hambers happen to work in the natural gas industry in Pa and would be willing to help out with some leads so that way my time in Pa will be more productive and also I might be able to meet some of you guys and keep my sanity from halving to talk work the whole time im out and about. any help would be greatly appreciated. You can send any responses to via p.m. and I'll reply as promptly as possible.
well i dont work in the oil fields but i know the cool spots around town your about 30 to 40 mins from pittsburgh which is where i am at if ya come to pa let me know you can stop by the shop and i wouldnt call houston a bustling town lol

Thanks for all the info so far guys. Now all I have to do is drum up some work for my drivers and roustabout hands! Looking forward to making it out east but it looks like it'll be around the first of the year. Just a llitle apprehensive about this whole deal, we're busy as hell in Oklahoma. But at the same time if we get in the marcellus shale natural gas fields and stay hooked up I can stay in oklahoma during our so called winter and spend summer in Pa!
el loco its funny this should come up today, there was a gas well explosion yesterday outside Houston. This is the local papers article, http://www.observer-reporter.com/OR/Story/12-01-worker-injured If you come to Houston mr.chevrolet & I live in Canonsburg, give either of us a call we can take you on a garage tour, lot of cars in this area. mr.chevrolet's garage and Tom Brown's will keep you busy for a day. You'll need to go a restaurant off the Meadowlands exit of Rt. 79 on Rt. 19 called the Starting Line. The place is all automotive themed and the owner, Don Liberatore, still drag races at PRP. It's real close to Canonsburg.
