Just wanted to Hear from some Colo hambers on thoughts/reveiws on this years Rod and Custom Show. Pictures welcome, I was unable too take any but for the short time I was there I did have fun. Thanks B.Coupe
I was told his shop built them, and then someone else said that Rolling Bones built the cars. Beautiful, none the less.
Yeah I had a great time at the show. Here are a couple of my ****py pix. My camera was giving me a hard time but better than nothing????
Fun show - a lot of talent around here! Got some photos here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ge***designs/sets/72157610581111707/ Noah
I thought the cars were much better then in years past. Though I miss the money car as it was not in attendance. There were some great woodies, the g***er vette was trick and the Art of Hotrod with Dave Kurz, Ken Gross, Steve Haugen and the great Darrell Mayabb was rad. Sorry, I didnt take any pix ....but I was there all wednesday filming all the cars before the ropes went up. the only real bad point was a beauty of a 32 roadster. Perfect in everyway with the late 40's look. Until I saw the brushed aluminum valve covers and the kenwood face-off.
Ken Gross was not in attendance...he was in Virginia with his family...but I was there in the "Art of the Hot Rod" area, does that make up for his lack of attendance...??? R-
I was downstairs in the Traditional area and pinstriped 2 cars, a camera, and 5 panels...does that make up for my lack of me not being in the "Art of the Hot Rod" area?
We went Friday morning, it was a good show. There were a good mix of styles and quite a few cars that I haven't seen before too.
Did you know that Mr. Harrison is the only person in the world to have a collection of every year corvette ever made? Some of them have never been driven. That's over 55 different models, plus his specialty corvettes.
Kick *** SHOW ! What ever turns your crank, it was there. My favorite part was the Old style rods and Kustoms in there own arena ,AWESOME. Joe Haska knows how to put on a show for every one.
