My 2dr Chieftain sedan trim is 82 1/8". I've also pulled from a Chieftain hardtop the same length pieces. Any of the Starchiefs should be longer I believe.

thanks for the info. i thought they might be the same but not longer. time to find a 2dr sdn or hdt. and see if it could be shortened.

I bought a 4 door p***enger set after seeing what the original ’55 2 door wagon trim was going for and cut and welded to the 75.5”. This one is also non-Safari.

I have a set of 4 door '55 Poncho trim spears if you need them. I had the same idea to make the 82 1/4" like the 2 door cheiftan. Then I scored 2 NOS drv side pieces for less than I paid for the 4 dr set. Pulled some strings and got a trade for an NOS p*** side piece to complete my set. PM me.

Thats what I was going to do until I found the drivers side being sold seperate. Do you remember the rear spear and rear door piece together how long it could have been made?

I think the 4 door is in the area of 54" as I recall. As far as the rear door I have no idea. But I'd bet you'd at least have the extra 21.5 inches to make 75.5.

I didn't remember how long it was since I sold all the extra trim I had to Hambers:D. One set to Ace Brown, he said it fit the shoebox like it was made for it. The rear door is the same as Chevy also, however long those are?
