New to the Hamb. Some great threads on here. I really enjoy the work in progress pictures no matter what the project is.

This project started 36 yrs ago with the front half of one 32 frame and the rear half of another one. I gave the car uncompleted in pieces to a friend in 74 and it sat in the back of a dump truck untouched for 29 yrs. He was nice enough to give it back in 03. Eng is 48 H series , Balanced, chopped flywheel, Johnson cam, shaved head, Mallory, Edmunds w 2 Bendix Zenith 1 barrels, headers. Running gear is 37 tube axle front w suicide perch. 58 vw bus steering box. 39 open drive trans w V8 Halibrand QC , 600/16 on 36 ford wheels F, 750/16 on 39 zephyr wheels R . Body dropped 1 1/2 inchs over narrowed and Z'd 32 frame. A rear crossmember and spring. Hood and deck lid were off in these pictures. Wheelbase is 2 " shorter than a 32 and with the 6 in there the ****pit is real tight.

That is what a T should look like. I love the QC hanging out the back. Very, very cool.

Nice stance... I haven't seen too many T's that look right on 32 rails, but that looks great!

Thanks, That rear frame half came from a old 32 5 window stock car that was being s****ped out up by St Albans Vt. That was the early 60's. In hind sight there was probably more worth taking than the rear of the frame. OB

Here's a couple of pictures of the 226 motor that got lost on the original post. I'd really like to find a aftermarket head head for this. I know I missed a couple on the HAMB earlier this year. If any one has a lead on one PM me. Thanks OB

What an old clapped out Jalopy. It's so small, I can't even drive it. And a 6 cyl, who in their right mind would juice one of those up????

Bob's car is the most bad-*** T roadster I know. It does not get sweeter than this.

Mallory number is ZB 240 (possibly O) AX. Think I'll start a 224" / 254" thread and see what turns up. OB

That is very nice. I especially like the rear angle pic. That roll bar and Quick change sure make that 27 Roadster a cl***ic!
