Billetproof Florida 2009 date !!!

Anyone know the host hotel for Bproof in Ocala 2009?
Is it the same as last year?

 

??Camping tents or ?

 

The Host Motel is the Sleep Inn, which is right next door to the show grounds.

Pre-registration is going to be the key this year. Dont count on being able to register at the gate.

I'm gonna try and get some New Orleans guys to go for the show. I'll be sleeping in the coupe though, can't afford a hotel

 

no camping on site as the location is literally Big Daddy's backyard.

 

I'll start to rally our tn poor boys and get my carharts ready another 600+ mile, NO heat, redeyed ride to Billetproof, FL 2009. Our guys had a blast in 2008, and we suggest this show to anyone of the hot rod persuasion. I look forward to another poor boy roundup!

I've officially set March 1st as the deadline for having my '40 Ford pickup project 'finished' so I can be there.

 

March 1st??? I'm shooting for the end of December as my "finish" date, so I may have time to really finish it before the show.

Can't wait for this one, it should be even better than the 1st.

 

Sleep? Whaa? The parking lot at the hotel was still full of big talkers at 3:00 am last year.

 

Looks like Jay and I will be flying out again this year. Maybe we can drag a few more with us this time.

 

Online registration running soon?

 

I was wonderin too since it was mentioned on 9/29 that the site was going to have Florida registration online in a week or so. I wanna go so I'll just keep checkin the site!

 

Still workign on it all guys... been out of town for a week or so setting up the Texas show, and cleaning up after the CA show took longer than I expected.

actually, adding an extra date to the schedule and planning for the possibility of ading yet another show required a site redesign. Its alot of pages to change.

Registration will be up soon enough, trust me.

No trailer for me this year... Should have a couple hundred miles under the oil pan by then. Green Stink 2 should be complete also.

How much time do we have left to pre-register? I hate to pre-register and then have an issue getting her car finished before the trip.

Maybe I'll just go ahead and pre-register and if the car isn't road worthy by then give/sell the spot to another HAMBer that's in need.

 

I got my entry in my emal this morning (double nickle). My bad on the bar name in an earlier post it's the No Where? Bar and its a go for Friday night. Big Daddy don't want no booze!!

 

Thats right... we are on for the pre-party at the NoWhere Bar. I'll have a separate thread announcing it.
