    Hey all,
Taking my doors apart, (30 model A) to take to the media blaster and ran into a problem.

Got the gl*** out, window mechanism, etc. no prob.

Having an issue with the exterior handle and latch.
I've removed the four screws surrounding the latch, but inside the door is where Im stuck.

There seems to be some sort of a spring/clamp in there connecting the handle to the latch.. I would normally just break the damn thing off and worry about replacing it later but something's telling me theres an easier way.

    Any help would be great
    TIA

No prob, turn the door handle approx 1/4 to 1/2 of a turn and pull the handle firmly and it should release... Its just a square shaft with a detent that needs to be alligned before it will release. Then everything will just fall out.....

Went to the shop, turned the handle, gave it a little help with a big screwdriver, and pop! Easy.
    Thanks man!
