Old Style Weekend. 1st weekend in August, southern Sweden. I wrote an article on the show for an Aussie mag a couple of years ago, and ended it saying "....you only need one kidney to survive, sell the other one and SEE THIS SHOW!!...." Or words to that effect. And i meant it!! Couple of hundred cars and bikes. Couple of thousand people over the whole weekend. Best show i have ever been to. PERIOD!
Would love to do Rumblers NYC and Viva in Vegas, but I don't think my car would make it from Detroit.

Willys Home Run/ Sunday Niagara First weekend in August --Lancaster N.Y. 3 days of hotrods and nostalgia drags http://dunntireracewaypark.com/c/sunday-niagara.asp great weekend
A local show we go to is the April Action show down in Moab Utah, this show is in a great location, although its a mixed show(theres some muscle cars and billet there too)theres plenty to do with organised rod runs to see the canyons and the arches plus a BBQ and about 600-700 cars in the show. bunch more cars just cruising about aswell http://www.moab-utah.com/aprilaction/
My list determined by how much fun I had: 1. Murdercycles Hot Rod Riot. Obviously a party at your own place with 100 cars, 100 bikes and 600 peeps is the most fun. 2. Hot Rods Return to the Milltown. It was a two day, free camping event. Removing the need to go home and possibly get busted by the cops made it very enjoyable. Guessing 300 or more cars over the two days. 3. Rumblers NYC. Gritty Brooklyn on a hot Summer day. Hottest girls I have seen at an event. I haven't been out West for a car show yet. I would say Bonneville Speed Week would be the first place I would like to see. I would also like to check out the Jalopy Showdown in Pennsylvania. Ray in CT
With no doubt at all - BILLET PROOF FLORIDA at Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing on March 22, 2009! I will be there in my restored coupe with blown 392 hemi power in 2010!!!
Well I already went to Billitproof FL, I just missed a good one in Augusta GA this weekend. I plan to do the Moonshine thing in north GA in October, I think, and then of course, Turkey Rod Run. And any more I get a hankerin' to do. I think I'd like to do Shades of the Past in Pigeon Forge TN too.
