36 Chevy low cab steering arms

    Do any of you guys know if the steering arms and tie rod on a 36 and 38 pickup are the same ???

    Rocky, I believe they are the same. Almost all the same on late 36 thru 38. Got both a 36 and a 37 and helped a friend build a 38. He used the axle out of my 36 for his cause I went IFS.

    According to my '29-'40 Chevy Parts manual, the passenger's side steering arm is the same from '33-'40 (p/n 475319) for the 1/2T.

    The driver's side arm is different: p/n 593405 for '37-'40 and p/n 373543 for the '33-'36.


    The 1/2T tie rod (p/n 367500 is the same for all '32-'40.

    Unfortunately, the parts manual doesn't say what's different about them.
