It turned out to be a great day for a car show. About 60 cars showed up and we all had a great time raising money for a good cause.

I'd like to thank Killer Rides for letting me use their shop to fix my trophy just before the show started. Thanks guys!

I think a great time was had by all and the day went off without a hitch.

Thanks to The Dirty's for putting this show together. Rusty worked his *** of for this and it payed off.

Thank you the Scorpion V Guys and Don Ross and the Scorpion 1 for bringing out thier awsome dagsters!!!

    ON TO THE PICS.

Cool trophys, kinda like every member of the car club had to make there own trophys and give it to the car they liked best. Cool idea, saves arguements of best of show etc.

I'm glad you picked my ride. The trophy is way cool. Guess I'm slow, didn't put together who you were on here til on the way home. One of your coworkers was in the restaurant I ate at on the way back. Cool show Rusty! Your family should be proud of you!

Thanks for posting the pics. Enjoyed the dragsters and other cars.

Can't say I cared at all for traditional/"real" flames on the Effie (yech.) Otherwise cool truck though...

    Rusty:
We of the Scorpion dragster croud were proud to have done a cackle for Mema and the others. We hope you were able to raise some $ for Mema. It's always sad to loose a loved one, but to turn it around and do a positive thing like you did is somthing special.
Also, because of the display of the Scorpion cars we were able to show Jimmy Austin our cackle show. Jimmy, the show chairman of the Dallas Autorama, invited us to do it at the Autorama in Febuawry 09. So we will be showing and do an outside cackle with both cars at the Autorama and plan to have Bobby and Ruth Langley there on Saturday to sign autographs.

Great show! Very well done. Hope you did well for the cause too. We had a good time. Guess it was my lucky day...won 3 times on the raffle drawing and brought home a trophy! I told the wife we were stopping for lottery tickets on the way home. See you guys next time.

Rusty did a hell of a job putting this show on. It was no less than perfect quality show. I had a blast and was good to meet Mema, what an incredible lady. The weather was perfect.

I will 2nd what Rusty praised all day long... the people who donated givaways and such were incredible. I have done a lot of HOG events and a couple of car shows and this by far was the most giveawys i've ever seen.

May God bless this family for healing for their great loss. I'm Thankful i was able to attend.

Truly believe this "race car" theme is going to be an up and coming design. May not be what the guy intended, but the minute I saw it, thta's what I visioned. The Corvette, with the diamond interior seems like a period correct survivor piece. Very cool. Thanks for the coverage.

Great show Rusty we had a blast. It was our first H.A.M.B related event and we hope it helped out your family. Awesome cars, all the folks that brought them out, thanks for helping out and donating your time. Vendors were very generous with the best raffle prizes, they fit the people there.
