Nice parts!! Sounds like you've got some talent, so it shouldn't be "much of a hill for a climber".

  6. I like how you are starting with even less of a car this time. Maybe the project after this will just start with an air cleaner. Can't wait to see how it comes out!

Hello. I'm the seller of Jeff's '34. Those Don Smart panels are second to none! This particular panel is 20 inches tall and is correctly contoured to butt weld and metalfinish. Yes, they're more expensive than those currently being mass marketed by the reproduction parts vendors... But, you can save much worse quarterpanels and end up with a much better repair. When Don installs one of these panels, you'd be hard pressed to find the seam (inside or out - in bare metal). If you need to contact him, he can be reached by phone at 828-874-4609. Be preparred to let the phone ring up to 10 times - he works alone in the shop. Depending upon what he's doing it will take him a few moments to shut off the torch and get to the phone.

    Jeff,
I'm glad that you made it home OK and are pleased with your purchase. I feel that I've turned it over to capable hands. I shopped and traded a lot to assemble the collection of panels, which I'm certain will yield a fine car. It's all that shopping and trading that led me to it's replacement. As you saw, my garage runneth over and my bank account was running out. There's no way I was going to ever finish the three '34 Ford coupes, '69 Camaro, '55 Chevy, '57 Chevy, '67 Nova, '69 Nova, & '64 Corvette. I may just finish a few of them by simply declaring them "finished"... Besides, when speaking of hot rods, "finished" is a relative term anyway. Best regards and best wishes. As soon as I figure out how to post photos, I'll post a couple photos of your car's replacement.

Being in pieces doesnt matter when they all look clean and solid like those. Kick ass score. Its like a big model kit.

    Congratulations ...
Loks like a great start ... I may have to ride down to Charleston one Saturday, eat lunch with the gang and then go see your new car.

I know it will turn out NICE ... :)
