23 tbucket

    i finaly got the time to post these pics of the 23 tbucket i am building.

    I like the way you did the front of the frame. It gets away from the welded up rectangular tubing look.

    I like the way you did the frame too, oil filter might be a little tight.

    once we are further along i am going to weld exhaust tube thru the holes in the front part of the frame to cap them off

    Just to let you guys know - the builder is my nephew and is 15 years old - hoping to have the car drivable before he gets his license! I'm trying to help him out with the donation of some traditional parts and a little cad/laser work.

    cool. i like the front frame treatment. my dad just retired and is not really a car guy. he needs something to do, so we might start a tbucket project soon

    Its just an optical illusion. Oil filter goes straight down (its a chev) and the corvair box sits like they sit on 99% of the buckets out there.
