Okay, I give up!! My hubby and daughter have beat up on me saying I need to quit lurking under his handle and get my own. So now that my 40 Ford Opera Coupe is back to running, after a 33 year rest, I have bit the bullet so to speak and joined. We have loads of street rods, one fully finished and the rest in various stages of completion. Currently we are working on my 40, his 32 5 window coupe and "our" 32 roadster; as well as helping our daughter with her 56 F100. I have been in the car scene since 69 and still enjoy them, as long as they aren't too fancy and can be enjoyed; after all what good are they if you can't drive them?
Well said, darlin', well said!! As someone's sig line (can't remember whom, haven't had enough coffee this morning) reads, "Its a car. Drive it." Welcome, and so glad to have another lady on the HAMB, under her own power and handle
welcome to the Hamb...your husband is lucky to have you and your daughter supporting and helping him out.........
I eat sleep and dream old cars. It is so cool when a lady owns and drives a neat car. Your 40 looks spot on. Post some pictures please. And welcome from East Alabama.
Welcome from Central PA. Great to see another woman sign up. Check out Lady's of the HAMB social link. My employees dubbed me a redneck motor head, and I accept the moniker with pride. Awesome to know there's so many female motor heads out there. We have a '35 Ford 5 window coupe ready to re-***emble; about half the parts for a '27 roadster (just picked up a baby hemi for it!); and lots of other motors for us to tinker with, and eventually find something to drop 'em in. Glad to have you aboard!
