damnit...I had just gotten this little Anglia that's for sale here locally out of my head until I opened this thread...those are great pix
The original shine on the chrome of the push vehicles is sweet, love the Superbee in the background too
Note to self hurry up with time machine construction, I gotta get to the 60's I've seen enough here in this day and time.
Killer... It makes me sad to be here, now...but, we have pictures at least. Always makes me think of my dad... Thanks! Any more pix of the white '28/'29? What motor is in that? Looks odd...almost like a BBF...could it be? In '70?
Yeah, dig the mirrors on the superbee in the first pic...now that is a kick ass tow pig! Thanks for the pics, too cool.
Great pictures. Thanks for sharing them for sure. The first time I was ever at that track was in 75. It has changed a lot over the years
In the first picture, the Super Bee is a 440 six pack car, and is being used as a tow vehicle. Check the mirrors on the doors and the trailer behind it. Plumber 1
Lucky Strikes, Trojans, and 8-track tapes!!!!! Great shots, pit bikes and backgrounds!! Keep 'em coming!! Dave
Willie Borsch warmed up his roadster at 196 mph in the second to last picture. Later ran against Jerry Gwynn in "Baby Huey", injected Chevy powered roadster.
The cars in the backgrounds are as cool as the race cars! Check out the red 2 door Chevelle wagon with dog dish hub caps! Just a cheap wagon then, now rare. I wanna go back! THOSE were the good old days.
