Any good radiator shop should be able to help you out.

you gotta get it rebuilt. i looked for a new one for a long time. all i could find are corvette ones. 53-54 are the same. not sure about 49-52. you could get one from a junkyard and make a bracet to mount it in the box too, but you may have to modify the box for the water lines though

You can get the size of it and the size of that box its in and find one thats roughly the same size. Napa might have a catalog of pictures. Also some times the prices of "antique car parts" might be way more than just normal parts, just an idea.

This is along the lines of what I was going to say to do. I recently saw a heater core for a '99 Chevy pickup that the lines actually swiveled where they went into the core. This made the manufacturer able to create a flatter box which cut down on shipping, etc.

However, the nice thing about it is that if you can get one of the same or very similar dimensions the hoses would be able to be directed to anywhere you wanted them - you'd just have to cut them off to length when you had it in place.

What he said, take it to the radiator shop, listen to what the guy says it needs, and ask how much, (when he's done fixing it)
