wire harness - any recomendations?

    I have to wire a 50 Merc. I am going to install a complete wire harness.

    Where do I find the good ones. No ****.

    I believe there is a HAMB vendor that sells good harnesses that have been given the kudos by many on the board...

    Ordered mine and cant wait to get it. I've heard they are the best, and Glenn is a real nice guy.

    +1 for Rebel. Got done doing mine about 2 months ago. I had never wired a hot rod before and it went much better than I expected it would.

    As an alternative, I am real happy with the kit and support I got from Hot Rod wires. Older guy who worked for GM once. His stuff is based around common 60's GM parts. Good price too. I've called him on a few Sundays, it always him that picks up the phone to help.

    Rebel Wire HAMB vendor, Hambers get i think 10%. I Just got mine 12/3/08. very happy with harness, good labeling throughout wiring. Come with detailed instruction manual.

    BTW...I copied both those from the hamb odex!!!

    Mine is color coded but not labeled, I think I'll go with rebel-wire.[​IMG]

    I think I see the problem Petesenman, its that little red wire near the top off to the left.

    Thanks everyone for the recomendations. I will be ordering a rebel wire harness.

    I've looked at the Rebel kits, and while they do look good, the biggest problem I see is none of the fuses are marked what they are. Kind of a **** shoot if you ever have to find a problem later.

    I loke American Auto wire, you attach the wire to the fuse box, which is inside the car. The other ends of the wire come attached to light socket ect, and the wire is high quality and labeled.
