    Sacramento Autorama - February 6 - 8th 2009. CAL EXPO FAIRGROUNDS

SUEDE PAVILION - Is shaping up ( and filling up ) very well. This year we'll be given the entire building - instead of just a portion. We're allowing more cars & more vendors.Car Club participation is encouraged - hand made trophies will be given out to clubs favorite car.
SUEDE DRIVE IN - Will be happening - cars will park all around the Suede pavilion.

Entertainment - Top notch Surf, Rockabilly, and Blues bands will be performing all weekend. Will announce them shortly.

Vendors - We still have a handful of vendor spots left.

PRESTIGIOUS CUSTOM MERC DISPLAY - As most of you have read in my other thread its shaping up very well, and we will have 40 of the BEST custom Mercs in the world. If any of you know any historically significant Mercs out there (even Barn finds) made between 1939 - mid 50's ,and are not on Rik Hovings list please let us know.

If you want to enter your car in the Suede Palace event and haven't done so feel free to PM me or email us at shifters32@pacbell.net. Spaces are filling up quick so don't wait til the last minute.

    Thank you very much.

Looks like the Poor Boys will have at least three in the show this year. Too bad I just got rid of the 56' Merc or I would have entered it too.

    I'll need a couple applications.

My Cause Dangerous will be there during it's whirlwind tour of California indoor shows.

    Hey Axel,

I see the registration form says $50 but I see in another thread that you said $40 for registration????

Should we put Suede Pavillion on the form some place and do we mail it to you or to the address on the form?

Also, is there a grace period after December 15, the deadline? I think we'll need it.

Disregard the deadline. Please fill out the applications, check the box next to "Suede", submit at least one photo of the car, and a check in the amount of $50 per car. Send everything to John Buck's address on the application. Thanks Bruce!

Gawd, thats a tough one my friend. I'd say the Pontiac in the Suede building, and if you're interested maybe the Merc at the "Merc Drive in"? That is, if you could get someone to drive it out there.

I have sent in Registration for My '56 Buick Wagon, I am waiting for a few entry forms for My Dads '59 Chevy Fleetside and a few others including a 1961 Ford Ranch Wagon Flaked by OZ!

Cant Wait for the show! It will be a rush getting my wagon rolling in time but it will be worth it!

This year will be the best year ever at autorama with a bigger suede room and the Merc gathering!

Fire up your Heaps and get registered!
