Prayers from the piney woods of East Texas!!! when I lost a dear friend and wife I was reminded that we are all children of God.He has loaned us these folks and has called them back home!!!

I have been through the same sort of hurt. When I was 10 years old my father walked into the kitchen of our house and blew his head off with a shotgun. The whole family was sitting there, my mom, 11 year old sister and myself and my twin brother. I think my father took the cowards way out. He left all of us to deal with what he left behind. If he would have been a better father maybe he would still be around to watch his kids grow up.

To everyone else. I think when OldFart said he was not a very good father, it was not as it seemed. It occurs to me that If I lost a child to something like this, even if I had been the greatest dad in the world, I would probably think that somehow it was my fault for not being a better father...
