I got a pair of 2" Blocks I made. Steel. I won't be useing them. I don't know of anyone that manfactures them.
One of the truck goodie vendors shows them but I can't remember which one. The blocks I saw had holes for the U bolts to go through. Most guys with this style truck buy the lowering springs and run them.
yes ther are but the spring is on the traililng arms, so you place the blocks between arm and spring. I have since gone to the dropped springs. much better
The biggest lowering block kits I've seen for these trucks is 2". LMC has them, I think Brother's has them, and probably CPP too. Or you can make your own and buy some nice U-bolts. No, he meant to say the block goes between the trailing arms and the axle. The trailing arms are underneath the axle, so blocks lower it.
These trucks really suffer from scrub line issues if you go over a 2 inch drop block. Here is a set I built for a 64 model. Imagine if they were an inch taller how low the lower plate and shock mount would sit in relation to the pavement below.
