I'm heading down to Nelsonville and will be there the first of January until spring of 2010, maybe longer. Anybody hambers around there? Doubt if i can take my hot rods with me so it'll be fun to see some local cruises while i'm there. I think i'll go through withdrawl if i don't... -ace
I sent ya one back. I thought you were ignoring me I'll be there for school. But i like it down there, and after i get out... who knows. I might just stay down there.
It is a nice area. Back in the day I spent many an enjoyable evening in Athens. I'm 45 minutes from there or so but there aint nothing going on over here. LOL
I'm in West Union about 2 hours west off of Route 32. Be happy to spend time with you if you get out this way. Wheelersburg has a real great cruise in the last weekend of the month but don't when it starts in the spring. Hopefully there will be another Cinematic in Gallopolis the last weekend in June again this year. Jim
there are some nice cruise-ins and shows in this area. best cruise-in is held at the Kroger store in ****ord. It averages about 500 cars every friday from april to september. It is sposored by Hoodalum Alley Boys Car club. Also, the Pumpkin Run Nationals is in Owensville Ohio the first weekend of October. It draws about 3000 nice rods.
sk rodz, thanks i'll check those out for sure! blown 49, i will definitely be at the Cinematic again (c'mon Ryan and Marcy!) in Gallipolis. My band played there last year and we had an awesome time. Except for the torrential rain , even then we had a good time! Maybe in the spring i'll be lucky enough to bring one of the rods down with me. We'll do some cruisin. -ace
Dont worry you will miss cleveland dont worry! I mean there is just so much to miss.... potholes.....snow.....potholes......and wait more snow!!! HAHA Good luck with everything!!! You going to be crusin in the summer up here on the weekends?
10-4 on the rain it did get nasty a couple of times. Really enjoyed your band and was set up near the front so we could watch your strummin' between the raindrops. I guess Ryan and Joyo fixed you up though so we could still hear the great music. We had a canopy and shared it with some others and we still had a great time. Major problem for me was the case of Pnemonia I got from the Mothman hunt the night before and the rain on Saturday but somehow it was still worth the trip. I particulary enjoyed Bubba's Spam sandwiches also. Jim
