They held it in the body with a Channel, Quarter Window Gl*** Rubber, stationary, 83-1/4" developed length, 4647564, cost $3.25 each in 1959.

The body style is 1211B, utility sedan.

Gl*** is part number 4649516, size is approx 14 x 34"

I seem to remember on my 56' Business Coupe there was also a small metal bracket with two screws to help secure it in the body/window frame. But, that was over 25 years ago. I looked in my 56' ***embly manual but it does'nt cover gl***. Butch/56sedandelivery.

thanks guys i figure stationary quarter windows will be fine no back seat and the roll bar it would be a pain to get back there anyways, and for door gl*** i'm just doing the "hemi dart strap deal" to get em to go up and down...probably remove the vent windows too... might as well keep it as light as possible...
