My wife and I are in Palm Springs this weekend until Sunday and I'm wondering what car related stuff we could do or see? We are leaving sunday, driving to Las Vegas and staying there until Tuesday.
So if anyone has some thoughts they would like to share it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

I never thought much of Palm Springs the times I have been there.
I think it has gone down hill over the years.
Hot, dry and dusty as well as a lot more drug and gang related crime.
Sorry to be so negative about the place.

    You will enjoy Vegas.

Not sure what kind of car related stuff there is out there. My wife and I went there back in October for our 10th anniversary. We stayed at a bed and breakfast called the Rendezvous Inn. Its a late 50's early 60's themed retro hotel. There only 12 rooms I think. No children allowed. You get breakfast included each morning, ****tails in the evening (martinis) by the pool. We stayed in the James Dean "Rebel Without a Cause" room. People are super friendly, highly recommended.

I did see a "used" car lot with alot of cl***ic cars on it while there. It was on the same street as the hotel, couple miles east of it. Didnt get to stop by, but it looked like they had some pretty nice stuff.

Also, I heard the tram ride up the mountain is very cool. Didnt get to go on that while there :(

Nice place to hang out though, lots of cool little shops and restaurants. There are also some furniture shops that specialize in retro "vintage modern" styling. Some neat stuff.
