Correction to above. Price for S-10 was 500 bucks, not 55! In retrospect, too much money, but ???? And a couple more pictures. Perley

Speaking of radiators, a friend of a friend put a '40 ford pickup on an s-10 and used the radiator from a fiero... I am trying to get pics. I am curious to know what the dimension are on the fiero radiator.

I'm using a early 60's VW Bus fuel door and filler flush mounted to the side of the bed.

Great idea but may be too low in relation to tank. For ease of use if you are using stock tank then I would consider running it up inside of bed and box it in. Go as high as angle at top of bed near stake pocket. I have seen this done on 67-72 chevy Blazer and looks factory and inconspicuous.

    I have a quick question...
since the 55-59 Chevy cabs are the same, is there anything besides the drive shaft carrier to watch for while mounting the cab? Is the mounting pads in the same area in regards to the cab?

You may want to use a newer 1/2 ton chassis. Those cabs are awfully big...

yep, the s10 is way to narrow for a 55-59... a Camaro clip is a good way to go on one of those...

I mean, I've seen it done before, and all a guy has to have is willpower to mane anything "work", but the amount of BS involved will totally not be worth it. Besides, they make a bunch of aftermarket parts for those...

A $200 Craigslist Chevy 1500 might work pretty well, but zman is totally right-on with that Camaro clip... ;)

Look at this guy's Webshots album - he put one in his '56:

The S-10 will be real close, but yo have one hell of a kick up in the back. It's nothing that can't be dealt with mind you, but you may want to PM some of the guys in this thread to see if the amount of work is worth it to you.
