well , I don't quite know what to say so i will start with this, I am in a club called the ROTBOX RODDERS and i hail from london uk , We have been going about 15 years with no comittee so it works well, i love most styles of cars so , and this is where it goes down hill, i don't own a hotrod, and it gets worse , I am 80% through my build which is a fat little mk2 ******, should i leave now?
It is tubbed ,narrowed 8", caged , 350-th350 combo and it sits squat to the floor .
I like to be different and that normally means i don' t quite fit in which suits me really, so i shall just sit back and wait or the comments to flow......or to be black balled . cheers vin :)

Welcome... There are quite a few guys here that don't have a HAMB friendly car but most I believe(myself included) are looking to build one eventually are are here to get some info and do a lot of reading. My suggestion for a pleasant HAMB experience would be to lurk around for a while, do some reading and try to understand the way it is on here. This is a traditional site for traditional rods, racecars & customs.

I think you need a bigger scoop on your hood;)

You will find many other HAMBer's from your part of the world, all over the world in fact.
Check the "dare to be different" thread that was started a few days ago.
Some guys will pick on 'ya no matter what 'ya do.
    Welcome.

cheers joe , thats what i had in mind as i do love the traditional rods more now and was thinking of building a sectioned sit up and beg all with the original running gear to make it as cheap as possible also fenderless ,we have a few flat front anglias in the club , a 39 , 47 and a 48 also the anxious g***er so the influence is getting to me.
scoop is now fitted albeit more street friendly...........

Hey A32flathead , why'd ya leave this great country?, was it perhaps the ****py weather, the extortionate taxes the major potholed roads (meant to be fixed by said taxes) or maybe the fact gas is £5 a gallon , thats right my stateside friends £5 a gallon , have i missed anything out ?

Your ****** may not be HAMB material but I have a great deal of respect for the great job your doing putting it together. (unsure of hoodscoop?)Listened to the video you posted of the car running and it sounds great also. Love the single exhaust out the back. Reminds me of the old turbineque(I believe thats the propper spelling) setup in 1960's dragcars. Oh, I almost forgot. WELCOME:)
