What kind of master cylinder -pedal ***embly will work in a 36 ford to change to hydrolic brakes.stock xmember stock trans & engine -flathead v8

and speedway motors sells a new master cylinder!

 

I believe it is easier to add a bracket for a master cylinder than to change out the petal ***embly. The clutch ratio is different and the arms interfere or some other problems. There is someone on Fordbarn that sells the brackets. 39 petals are worth$$$

 

Oh, C'mon Andy, I've got some '39 pedal ***emblies and I wouldn't put them in the "$$$" price range. : )

 

OK, I'll drop it to $$. They are worth 150. At least that is what I have seen them sell for. The bracket should be easier and cheaper. I am guessing as I have not bought one or have any connection to the seller. I don't even know who sells them!
