Hey, guys I currently have a ch***is engineering front end on my 50 chevy styleline. now I have decided that I want to go with air ride on all four corners .I see a lot of guys are using the FATMAN ULTRA LOW crossmember to get down low. so that brings me to the question do I keep the front end I have and use dropped spindles or do I get fatman crossmember? what are the heigth differance between standered front end and ultra low. give me the pros & cons. thanks
Spindles will get you an average of 2 inches lower with no other changes. personally I wouldn't use bags, bur that is p to you. jerry
think about this a minute. dropped spindles really are raised spindles that drop the crossmember. the car becomes lower by raising the spindle. usually the crossmember is the first thing to drag. raising the crossmember is a better way to lower a vehicle.
