Hey out there I have a few ?'s one i have a 1966 chevy c-10 step side truck and i want to put a visor on it? Now i should have waited before i painted and cleared it, so i would like to avoid any welding or drilling. So i would like to know if there is a way to bolt it on and what to make it out of? Second i am looking to start a car club for next year 2009 and i was wondering if there was anywhere to post it on here, or somewhere else to start getting members. And i live in wood dale illinois which is by o hare airport, so if anyone knows i would really appreciate there help!!!!
Thanks a lot for anyone's help!!!! "Rockabilly never dies!!"

Visors are not advisorable for any late* models of any make, model, or body style including all commercial vehicles of which yours is one.

    * or most early models either

  12. Not my favorite accessory. Visors always end up looking like the vehiclular version of the guy's running around car shows with lip rings and an old fadora.

Okay jeff/21, nap time. Visors are the coolest! However this one might be hard to pull off. I hope you can make it work.

    What the???

    A visor on a 66 Chevy p/u???

    Seriously???

Where is that post from a few years ago about the dumb**** wanting to put a visor on a mid-60's galaxy???

Good Gawd, that dude was flamed into the stone age. He's probably still in therapy.

And for the record I'm seriously considering putting a visor on my 65 Riviera...and my 98 4 runner....and maybe one on my dog.

Its your truck, do what you want.

As for loooking for car club members, try making a user group for your town, and start a thread with a link to it over on the intro page.

The homemade visor looks pretty cool with a little tweaking.

I want to apologize for my high school esque postings. I have seen the error of my ways. Visor placement is no laughing matter.
