I've here for over 2 yrs. looking and reading. I decided I'd step up and do the intro deal. I've been involved with hot rods most all my life. My family owned a service station /tire shop and liquor store in western Kansas, which worked out well during the high school years! Free gas for the cheer leaders , and coors from grandmas store. Today, I still drag race, build hot rods, and motorcycles. I'm currently building a 35 chevy panel delivery. I have a collection of old cars, memorbila, and serice station leftovers dating back to the post war era when my grandad had his 1st skelly service station. Someday when I get older I'm going to finish my 55,56 & 57 nomads for my sons. I've owned them since around 1968-69, I'm 53 now so I have time yet I think. Traditional hot rods is what we did,..there wasn't anything else. Race it on friday night, fix it on saturday! If I don't fit in say so................
As soon as I figure out HOW to make them fit the size limit I will. My computer skills are far less than my crafting skills thats why I've stayed in the background.
Hey, welcome from the eastern front (of Kansas). Gas stations, liquor stores, cheer leaders, 35 Chevys, no worries, pull up a chair. Where do you race?
