I believe you skipped the important BODYWORK part of that paint job.
The color is different and a good choice, but no finish paint on undone bodies if you please.

generally the taking pride in your vehicle should overshadow the hat(e?) for doing bodywork.

I think it looks alot better than it did in primer. Definately worth the 12 bucks!

It's actually a pretty cool color but I would have spent some time on getting those dents out. I would also try coating those rusty pipes. Nice use of $12 though.

I love the color, but I love just about anything green. The car looks good, but since you asked, I think even a coupla shots with a hammer and dollie would do them dents far better! Still, it's looks far better than before...

I tend to agree with everyone about taking a little pride in your work. Cutting corners looks like cutting corners.

I dont get the rust and dent's stuff. nothing wrong with rattle can paint if thats all you can afford, but why not take a little "pride in your ride" and do the best job you can afford and manage with your skill level.

C'mon man, you could have at least pounded out the big dents obviously caused from where your arm has leaned against it posing for pictures...

The entire bottom of the driver's door on clark's old So What roadster pickup was rotted out and painted right over with shiny paint... you could see through it. Never heard anyone bring it up.

And my old modified was painted shiny black with a brush. That body wasn't perfect either. (but I did pound out the really big dents and patched most of the rust) No one ever mentioned it.

But I guess neither one of us posted pics of our cars asking for opinions on the paint jobs either. :)

Damn man, pick up a hammer and at least give it a shot. Those dents on the roof and smashed rain gutter look terrible.

Man thats a cool car I hear you on doing body work. Ive built afew cars and didnt do the body work on them and still painted them. Dont listen to these other guys you built the car for you not them. You did ask what we think so you brought some on your self. I wouldnt think twice if you like it you like it. I do like it

The facelift looks good, I don't mind the dents. But lifting the whole thing 3"-4" off the ground would help too.

I have a hard time seeing these cars at shows! I will not drive my vehicle until the thing is done! Same as " you don't put your socks on after your shoes"! If you don't want to do the body work then don't paint it. At Least you don't have to deal with people thinking you don't give a **** about your ride when it's in primer. I hate body work as much as the next guy and the guy after that!! but I sure as hell will never take a short cut on something that I get to tell people that I did.

I don't even drink but if you would have spent the $12 on beer and gave it to some of your bodyman buddys, they might have done it for you. Or get some flat clear and knock the reflection off of them crators in the top.
