Man...what an awesome truck and an awesome picture! This already has my vote for the HAMB cal. for '10.....I can hear those headers Now! JUST a GREAT PIC! Love it!
I guess I'll get this finished sometime. It has a home made box and uses tudor doors and a Granada steel roof. Semi eliptic rear springs and an extended chassis for a good strong towing hitch.
Not quite a pickup. Cab extended 6-1/2", B motor with original CRAGER head, Stromberg-Bendix downdraft manifold, T-5 and F-100 steering.
I'm a Model A guy with a 5 window, looking at these trucks makes me want to add one to my herd. Cool trucks.
Well mines not a PK Up any more, but close. I built this one with what I got, or could get locally. Took her on the first 5 mile run last night cause she ain't got a sticker (yet) Hood soon and doors later. Here we can run some fancy chain or tubing (Jeep style)to close up the door. Both doors need some help at the bottom and thats coming, but she will be on the road very soon with out for now. Got a 2.5 4 banger Jeep /5 SP and Cheby Axles (told you I was using what I got). Still have the original 29 Pk Up with out the cab and thats next. B block full pressure, Lion head, Down draft, T5 trany, open drive A rear end. Will need a cab but Brookvilles got em. Iceman
Freaking Awesome! you sir have just inspired me for my build! what size are those tires, and what are those rims off of? do you have any more pics?
Thanks....I recently sold it though.... More pics HERE. Tires are 4.50-18 Excelsiors and 7.00-18 Firestones on 18" KH wheels....
Black 1929 I own currently and the 1930 green one I sold a few years back.Think it's in Illinois now.
Cannot do any better than that...super neat! Drive it to Lone Star Round Up this Spring / Austin Tejas Guy Dallas, tx.
This is mine from when it was in Cali and the last one is what it looks like now. Totally different! Well kinda! Should be done by spring.
