Excuse my off topic post, but all ways home for me are closed save the 101, and that's outta the question until traffic untangles, which leads to me sitting in a Home Depot parking lot wondering...what's there to do in Burbank??? Thank you.
Here's a place I've been wanting to check out, Joe's Great American Bar & Grill http://www.danceatjoes.com/ Don't know who's playing tonight, but it's gotta be better than Home Depot!
Go hit Bob's. You probably won't see a whole lot of great stuff tonight, but use your imagination. I moved a few years ago and haven't been on a Friday recently, but in the past I've bumped into Billy Gibbons (didn't see his ride), Jay Leno (didn't see his ride), the shop manager guy for American Hot Rod (didn't like the car he brought out). Also, David Lynch used to have lunch there every day, at least according to the Blue Velvet special features.
Go see the new Clint Eastwood movie "Gran Torino"? ArcLight Hollywood 6360 W Sunset Blvd, Hollywood [about 8 miles from Burbank] 7:20 8:15 10:05 11:05pm
Burbank is dead, nothing to do here at night, go to Hollywood, 5 miles south, you'll find "everything" to do.
Found the ultimate time killer...trying to find a car charger for an iphone. Time to forge ahead and try the 101. Thanks for the ideas fellas. Next trip will be sure to march up with something more fun
That's easy, the Fry's by the Burbank airport with the '50s sci-fi theme. There's a UFO crashed into the building!
