Can anyone identify these buckets? I'm thinking 63 Falcon or 64 Comet. Thanks!

I pulled this part number from the hinge cover. C3DB-6361692-AW

Anyone have a 63 parts book to look up the application?

    Thanks!

1963 Falcon, is what the parts number comes back to.

Pretty sure it's the same for a 1964 Comet.

Well I kept searching and searching and found this is a 1964 Comet ad. I zoomed in and counted the stitches on the bottom part of the seat and the count matches.... so it looks like these are 64 Comet seats.

    Yep, 64 comet.

63-65 comet and falcon hardtops/sedan are basically the same. The 63 has more rounded corners, but the same frame. Converts are completely different.

So, was there a deluxe interior option or something? Most interior pictures I find of 64 Comets with buckets look like the picture below with the square pattern not the vertical lines. I noticed in the AD picture I posted there is no woodgrain sticker on the dash so I thought my seats might be a cheaper interior option/package.

    Thanks, Mike

The Cyclone had the vertical lines in the seats and no wood grain trim on the dash. Quite different from the caliente in the photo.

Consoles for 64-65 comet / falcon are the same. The comet has a slightly different lid design than the falcon. Expect to pay $300+ for a decent one.

For the record, here is a photo of the seats in my 64 cyclone for comparison.

They look similar as the ones in my 61 S-22 Comet.

I did get this console with the car, but assumed it was for a falcon.

Depends on what you want for a look. That console is for a 60-63 falcon/comet. Think that one you have is from a convert as well. The 64-65 looks quite a bit different.

If you are building a 64-65 comet or falcon, than that console just is not 'correct' even though it would look ok. I assume you are building a 64 comet ??

    Yes, 64 Comet Caliente.

Off topic, but I just got my Dearborn Classics catalog wednesday and I don't see interior kits offered for the 64 Comet. Searched the net too and could not found any replacement door panels either...I did find a dash (black only).

Well Falconman I'd say you were right on the money with your console $$ estimate. I just won this on eBay. The shipping is not 99 bucks btw. More like 30.

Nice ! Good ones are hard to find. I picked up one last summer at a local swap for $75, but I was very lucky.
