    this frame has been laying out behind my house for at least 60 years. does anybody have any idea what it might be ?

    looks like my '28 pontiac frame the dash is a little different. I will look at my cowl & firewall tonight!!

    it "might" be this car. i can tell from what's left of the rear quarter panels that it was a roadster with similar lines to this car around the trunk area.
    this pic is of my grandmother and her sister taken at the family farm where the frame is.

    about a 28-29 chevy.
    looks just **** the one i have standing in my shop.
    dead givaway is the firewall,looks like the japanese rising sun [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG]

    [/ QUOTE ] My 26 Dodge has the circle in the center of the firewall with two lines radiating to each side. It seemd there are a LOT more 1920s Dodges surviving than Chevvies. Tomslik, didnt the chevvies have a big indentation?

    the twi cowls i have don't but they were 4 cyl vehicles.
    1 is a 27 chevy 1 ton truck and the other is/was a roadster/touring cowl.

  11. From the dash, I'd have to say late twenties/early thirties GM. My 30 Buick has a similar Dash. Not the gages, the part above them that is fastened with those funky bolts and spacers.
