who else listened to the Firestone promo records in the 60s? I've collected several sets of all seven albums lately...

 

Rock on Brian Setzer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have the DVD of his Christmas music, awesome stuff!!!

 

Love Setzer's Christmas special! I saw him last year in L.A. and I'd love to see it again.

 

I too was looking forward to Setzer's Christmas show. Too bad they cancelled the whole tour. Guess I have to settle for listening to the cds.

 

Hands down my favorite Christmas CD. Lots of great vintage rockabilly. It's on a small label from Germany called Buffalo Bop who reissue some pretty amazing stuff. Pick it up if you can find it.

They were just playing Cheech & Chong's "Santa and his Old Lady" or whatever it's called.
Chong notes that Santa has "A real charp chort. Twice pipes and a ****on top".
I love that one.

Also hard to beat Dan Hicks & the Xmas Jug Band doing "Santa Lost a Ho!":
