stretching a front axle on a Dodge A100

I need an extra front axle for a Dodge A100 so we can drop it. We are concerned about tearing at the shock mount holes, so we want to try a spare one in case it brakes. Any ideas? Sid from the HAMB is going to do the stretch, but we don't want to risk ruining the olny axle I have for it.

 

I would think that those swap out with truck (D100) axle. Try one of the sweptline forums.
