New Guy From Nebraska

I am 28 and I have been building cars since I was 14. I have spent most of my time on muscle cars but I am really into all the old hot rods. Right now I have a 1967 Pontiac Lemans, 34 Ford Pickup, and a 28 Chrysler Coupe. They are all in the early stages right now. The 34 Ford I rescued out of an old dump and the 28 Chrysler I was able to get out of an old storage shed. They are both rough but they can be fixed. I love all types of metal fabrication and really anything to do with cars. I look forward to talking to some of you on this site, there are some really tallented guys on here with alot of knowledge. I hope to get some ideas, pointers, and tips.

I have to make one correction, I was reading on your site and another where I found out that the 28 Chrysler body I just picked up is not a Chrysler but a Dodge. Also I will try to post some picture here soon. I don't have any of the 28 Dodge but I will put some up of the other two.

Welcome to the group. I, too, am new...and in Nebraska. Not surewhere you are located. I am in Grant. Twenty miles south of Ogallala. Originally from Boston. long story. Love it here. Just came back to street rods after fifty years. Got a 39 sedan, Ford of course. Also putting a 27 T roadster together when 39 is done....well, at least back on the road. We've got a pretty good group here. Our club was going to be called Prarie Pussies, but the wives don't like it.

Thanks for the message. I am located near the Gordon area, but I live out in the middle of nowhere. Glad to find someone pretty close. You can catch me at covey440@gpcom.net. Sounds like a cool club. I have wanted to start one in my area but there is no old rods and no interest around that I have found really.
