Bought this today at a farm sale in south central Nebraska. And man was it cold today. Best part about it is that I drove it onto my trailer. It runs great and started right up in 5 degree weather. Might make a hauler out of it. It has no rust and one small dent in the right front fender. This picture is the one the auctioneer sent me last week. What do you think?
Had to barrow my buddies trailer with the 7000lb axle for this one. My car trailer just wouldn't handle this truck.
I was thinking the same as Belchfire. WHAT A TRAILER to load that BEAST on!!! I love it, wish I had the room or cash for a COE in my life. If you change it to a hauler do you have to build ramps to get the vehicle up there or how does that work. tilt bed? sliding bed? Just curious. I have always wanted to buy a tow truck and put a COE cab on it. the frame and hydraulics would already be done!
Looks a good buy why dont finish us off and tell us how much it cost. Must have been a slow drive home too.
The owner said his father bought the truck new and at some point the engine went bad and got a replacement from an army half track. He also said he was offered 4000.00 for the truck a couple months ago but could not sell because it was part of his fathers estate. He said they did use the truck during bean harvest this year. Like I said it runs great. I think I'm going to drive it around tomarrow
