I'm trying to find a modern paint with an old candy/metallic look and this was suggested. Any experience with it or other alternatives? Thanks - Terry

Sem Color Horizons Hyperbase Color - Shovelhead Red /QT
Price: $69.95 Part No: Sem 07084

HYPERBASE COLORS are a creative mixture of metallic candy colors and pearls packaged in convenient, ready to reduce round quart cans. The 15 HYPERBASE COLORS have been reformulated to be easier to use and provide maximum UV protection!

By combining the clarity and color definition of a candy with the brilliance of a pearl, you can create looks that are out of this world.

I have never used it, but have talked with a few other painters that had nothing but good things to say about the SEM color horizons paint. I was also told that the shovelhead red was a pretty badass color.
