I've got an old rod that's been in the family since it was purchased... Pre-war. Never had a ***le.

    Gonna need one...

    Any suggestions?

Its just an old Fordor. '39. Purchased/registered before laws required a ***le. Vehicle type/age don't affect the requirement, I think. I'll start with the historical do***ent search, thanks..

Soooo... No ***le, no old reg, no bill of sale (only changed hands once so far--gifted) no nuttin', nada.

    What would you do?

As far as I know up here in New England you need A ***le or old reg from that state you want to reg in. exsample, old reg from R.I. too rereg in R.I. if you get A current one from the state your old one is from that should be o.k. with no ***le

sell it to a ***le company in alabama and they will sell it back to you with a current registration then go pay your tax and apply for a ***le

  11. Maybe you should ask an in-state DMV how they handle it. I'm not sure why it matters what kind of car it is, but given New York is a neighbor state there must be some means to do it (NY doesn't ***le 72 and older) -
