Hint: Make that fence go all the way to the ground (I hate snakes!) We have "black racers" here and they say they will eat all the bad snakes (dunno) so I kinda live with them and so far it seems to work. Did I mention I hate snakes? I couldn't imagine being on my creeper under a low slung rod only to come face to face with one of those! I hate snakes. Nice digs! B&B
