55 f100 gasser project

    lookin for some help on how to llift the front end of my 55 f100 with the stock straight axle and stock steering setup tryn to set it up like an old g***er because i never seen one done like a g***er. but i tryn to stay away from using blocks under the springs if anyone has some advice would be greatly appreciated.

    I would like to do my truck up with a straight axle and leafs and stuff, but I think its a bit 'disrespectful' almost... its a '94

    I think a stock '55 F100 is high enough without any additional lifting. How about a slight lowering of the rear end and a stock height nose?

    if you do an axle over in the rear and maybe take a few leafs out the front end will sit really high
     
  7. Loose the stock Cast axle and go to a Strait Tube axle. No need to re work the steering and would raise the Truck 3 or 4 inches, what ever the stock step is from spring pad to King pin boss. Plus it would look more correct.

    yea is there anyone out that makes tube style axles for a 55 f100 pickup
