Good to see she made it home, Pov. Nice chatting to you about it. Sounds like you got a reasonable deal with all of the upgrades.

I think your going to find more and more of these being upgraded with 6 cyl power instead of the "standard" V8. There is no where for the price of gas to go but up and after this recent "relaxing" of the price at the pump. I'd like to see more V6's, such as the GM 4.3 (makes dual exhaust much easier:)) used but there are a lot V6's out there.

I've sold these trucks to the Netherlands before. They are popular all over the world.

Once again, the Poverty Flats scores a cool deal. I really like that truck. You can park it up at my shop anytime. It would definitely give the shop the 50's theme i'm after.

Thanks for your comments Frank. I agree that there is a renewed interest in 6 cylinders. I like them as they are relatively cheap and you can do alot to hop them up. I have several of them myself.

Cool truck. We just picked up a 50 that was parked in a barn since 1968. Its got a 235 and is other wise all stock. Spent some time today tearing apart the front brakes. I think it will end up pretty similar to yours with discs, swapped rear end, and other convience items. Plan is to keep it looking all stock though.

    nice find.
