well. i cant take it any more!!! here goes im finally gonna start workin on my dream car. 1930 model A tudor sedan.
as it turns out this car was my grampas then he sold it to dad hmmmm? somewhere around 1985 or so well i think i was like 14 years old.
i never dreampt it would be mine some day!!! well the good news is that i just flat out bought it from dad about two years ago. the bad news is gramp pased on last year.
long story short the car spent its life up north in michigans upper pinunsula all stock except for the galvinized makeshift roof insert tared and sheet metal screwed to the roof. it would make apearances in munising parades and such, then gramp bought it exactly when i have no clue he was good for that sort of thing kind of a wheeler dealer type always had somthing hiding in the back ground. the first time i laid eyes on it was we made the trip to munising michigan to pick it up. it was tucked away in a barn all dusty and with shards of paper parade flowers and tape from the last parade it was in. so my grampa, dad, me and my two brothers loaded onto the trailer in non running condition and hauled it back to gramas house in shingleton. By the middle of that day dad and granp had that thing running and we were all taking rides as kids we were all interested in cars due to dads love for hot rods.

for the next 26 years the car stayed dorment in dads possession in the early years he would start it once or twice a year but that was the extent of it . them mom and dad devorced around 1994 or 95 dad moved out and got his own place so went the model a i think that that was the last time dad started it and moved it to its new home just a mile down the road from mom ands marital home where it stayed under a leintwo next to dads garage so in 2006 i bought it from dad for the sum of $2525 dad said he wanted to make some money for once when he sold somthing he bought it from gramp for $2500. so me and my younger brother mike and my son josh went over to dads to bring her home of corse it was stuck breaks, motor the whole thing. i bought mom and dads marital home in 1994 so i didnt have far to tow it about two miles down dirt roads we got clost to home and i got the engine to turn over by bump starting it on the road we had it running that day and i threw on some hot rod wheels
