Does it actually have to "start" and run every day for it to be a daily driver? I've had plenty like that!
Since the 'modern' '60 Chevy Brookwood's been down, I drive this everyday. No wipers, no fenders, no radio, no nothing. My '54 Chevy was my main driver until it went into extended bodywork hibernation. I've driven nothing but old cars as daily transportation since '77. When old cars break they're easy to fix.
This has been my daily for the past year. been a great car. barley a hicup from her. Looks like I'm gona have to sell her unfortunatley . Good times though. On the upside though, I can get my bike back together
I drive my 1964 Chevy Pick up, a 1972 Jeep Commando, or when the weather is just right and theres not a cloud in the sky... I pull out my supa fly 1983 Dodge charger. Im gettin goose bumps just thinkin about it.
Not a hotrod like some of you guys got, but I drive it everyday, rain or shine, no heater and I don't bother with the radio, the motor sounds better anyway. Somewhat rowdy 302, 2k stall, 4.11 rear. Been a good car, it's just wore out... wasted frontend, leaking trans, windows won't roll up without drama. I friggin love the thing. Not uncommon here in the desert, I even saw one the same color and similar wheels. I want to grow a mullet, but my boss will fire me and my girl will leave me...
[ QUOTE ] .............. U know what they say revenge is best served cold [/ QUOTE ] VERY COOL BRO!!!
My '34 is my (second) car/daily driver. Gets a little cold here in Western PA in the winter, but being retired allows me to pick and choose my trips. Tomorrow is calling for 2-4 inches of snow so maybe I'll leave it in the garage.
My 48 Plymouth is my daily driver. Still running the flathead so make sure to stay in the right hand lane on the highways here in the Dallas area.
My daily is my 57 Chev 3600. Just put some heavy meats on the back for traction. Takes a long time to warm up that metal interior....brrrrrrrr!!!!!(the 60 in the background I keep off the roads in winter)
