    Hey Lucky,
Ya know I met Art Christman at the last Long Beach Swap Meet on Sunday after Mooneyes on saturday. He is the most low key, incognito, coolest guy I ever met.
Just selling some cool old parts. Not promoting anything. Not signing autographs. No name tag nuthin'. Just one of the guys. And if somebody doesn't tell you your never gonna know. Very cool guy. We talked for a bit, very cool stories.

I forgot, Art is gonna drive at Bonneville again. Him and his son are building a Chevy Cobalt that Art will drive.

That's so great to hear. I can't wait to meet him. I hope I'm doing ok by him. It's amazing how much they did to this car. I hear the same thing about him. I hear he's just a great guy.

Yes Boones, this is only a land speed car.

    Flathead powered

If you are going to "copy" something, that's a damn nice thing to copy. Good luck with it and look forward to seeing more progress and it finished. Would be pretty hard to have too many of those.

that windshield in your face has got to take some getting used to! That's soooo cool. Makes me wonder whatever happened to the HotRodCh***is salt car with the MEL engine that Chad and Kevin were working on

I was reading ryans blog on the chrisman coupe the other day, and was thinking how cool a clone would be, but with a front engine... and here it is!
    looks great so far.
what is the windshield surround out of?

  22. You should hinge the top and bottom so it can bite people. Cool project.

Please keep it on the salt and on the tracks. Racecars are for race facilities and street cars are for the streets and highways.

That is going to be killer! That car just looks cool. I like the open hood sides, but not the best for aerodynamics. I don't know if anybody has this thought, but that car looks like an "old Crow." Shiny black paint, white stripe down the middle of the hood. I don't know maybe a bit to "OCC theme bike", but I'd still like to see a photoshop. Please keep us up to date with pictures.
