here are a couple, the axle is a Rods West unit, I strongly believe it is worth it because I have abused it.
Both of mine use a tube axle from MAS from St. Paul MN. The tube is 2" DOM material, 1/4" wall. It has a 2" drop, 48" centers for kingpins, which I think is what the stock axle uses. MAS builds the axle with camber set. Caster is set by you when the spring perches are welded. You have a choice of spindle types when you order......I chose '49-'54 Chevy for strength, kingpin availability, and disc brake adaptability....ECI in my case. I built with the mantra KISS.....keep it simple stupid, as well as ready availability of parts over the counter. Nice to be able to walk into Napa or whoever and be able to buy OEM type bearings, seals, brake pieces vs a lot of the aftermarket/specialty stuff requiring ordering/waiting for it to be delivered.
I have a stock Willys axle in mine along with stock springs and steering box. The box has been moved back to go along with the engine setback. This is the best photo I have available.
Already been there once Tony with my 66 Falcon wagon, Just laying some plans for a 41 Willys project, I'm just in the process of taking a mould off of a perfect body.
