Intro for Nocentsracing in Longview Texas

  1. Howdy, My name is John and I'm building a chopped and channeled 30 Model A coupe from the peach in the attached picture (I hope I can attach). It's beewn sitting in my garage for about a year and a half while I finished up a 1968 Mustang for my son (in high school). I have a 50 model flathead at the machine shop and am debating whether to use a s-10 trans or a C-4. It looks like the C-4 would be easiest, but shifting gears behind the old flattie would be fun. Also, I've just about convinced myself to build a new frame for the car from 2X3 tubing with a suicide front axle instead of chopping up the original frame. If I'm really lucky you'll see the picture of my newest find, a 1947 Coupe in Arkansas I bought for $400. You can never have too many projects or parts waiting in the wings.

  2. Well, it seems my pictures are too big to post , even though they are only about 80k. Any suggestions? Thanks.
